Frans B @FransB Aug 16 Quite enjoyed it. Timothy Olyphant, Dougray Scott and Olga Kurylenko convincing in character. Well written, dialogue in line with the game it is based on. Good cinematography. Lots of action, violence, emotion, intrigue, drama, some melodrama, suspense and grit. The review ratings on RT not in line with other platforms, which rates it higher. Yes, I know even Timothy Olifant only took this role because he needed the money and thank God he took it because he did a great job. I feel like this role may have been one of the reasons he got casted as the bad guy in Die Hard 4. To me it felt like there was enough action in it and the little goofy moments made it an overall good watch to be enjoyed years later. Rupert Friend, no filme de 2015, funciona melhor. Olga Kurylenko também tem seu papel estendido sem necessidade, servindo apenas como interesse romântico. A versão de 2015 já absorve influências de John Wick; aqui, tudo é mais tradicional. No fim, o filme funciona sem depender do game, mas permanece uma produção mediana, sem grande brilho.
