Excellent version of Lawrence-Lee play of the Scopes trial. The kind of high quality production that the television networks use to present before cable took them over leaving us with a wasteland of reality shows and sitcom junk on the standard channels. Superior performances from Jason Robards Jr. and Jean Simmons and a particularly fine one from Kirk Douglas make this something well worth seeking out.

Hard to believe there's still people today that want to argue this crap. No wonder Europe looks down on us.
