Sep 04, 2020Jexi is one of those films that comes out and lacks genuine laughs. The film is forced and story is haphazard at best. It's a shame the film-makers decided to follow this style and push so many jokes at the audience. The actors are left to create something out of nothing and not having a screenplay worthy of their talents, it falls apart early on. The film had potential and plays out in a comedic style of Her. This film failed to ignite the box office for good reason and I can't recommend this for any film-goer. The plot is thin and the characters are non existent. The one joke premise grows tiresome early on and the characters aren't developed or likable enough to save it. 03/09/2020Brendan O Super Reviewer
