Critic Reviews for Knuckledust

All Critics (7) | Top Critics (1) | Fresh (4) | Rotten (3)

  • Luridly coloured, handheld cinematography seems designed to distract from the shabbiness of the sets, while the muffled dialogue and too-loud backing tracks make it nigh on impossible to work out what the hell is going on.

  • Knuckledust's neck-breaking tonal shifts and cheeky riffs on QT and Ritchie make it a mixed bag.

    April 12, 2021 | Full Review…
  • While it begins a bit shaky, writer-director James Kermack quickly rights the ship and invites viewers into a world of blood and deception that, regardless of how ruthless it can be from time to time, is quite welcoming.

    January 9, 2021 | Rating: 7.5/10 | Full Review…
  • Adrenaline pumping fights along with some brain activity required of the viewer. The highlight is most certainly all the fights, if you go for that sort of thing.

    December 17, 2020 | Rating: 2.5/5 | Full Review…
  • Knuckledust is nothing original, but the creators try to serve up a fun watch.

    December 11, 2020 | Rating: 6.5/10 | Full Review…
  • There may be one too many homages and things do not flow as smoothly as they should, but there is still a lot to like. Great fight scenes and surprisingly funny.
