A father owl's tales of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole enthrall his son Soren, but an older son scoffs at the stories of winged warriors who fought an epic battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. Later the brothers become captives of the Pure Ones, but Soren makes a daring escape and, with the help of other young owls, seeks out the Guardians and brings them back to defend their people once again.

I've always loved this movie, I was four years old when I first watched it and I still find it amazing, even though it came out in 2010 the animations the graphics and overall everything is better than nowadays movies, it's an amazing movie.

Eu assisti esse filme a muitos anos e sempre estive a espera da continuação. Hoje coloquei o filme para meu sobrinho assistir e ele amou. Palavras dele: "foi muito massa, só faltou a cara do bico de ferro sem a máscara", ficou aqui a curiosidade. Sobre a continuação ele diz: "espero pra ver e acho que será muito incrível, pois a rainha do mal vai fazer um plano infalível para conseguir conquistar a grande árvore". Estamos torcendo, 16 anos depois, por uma continuação.

This movie was made way before its time, the amount of details and action as well as a good follow through story line makes this movie an overall 20/10 for me and it will always be one of my favortie childhood movies. Although there is alot of fighting it is still a well written story that I believe will help kids understand more than be sheltered from ideas of seeing war and allow a new view and creativity in ones life.

An animation marvel visually, even 15 years later. Great voice acting and has plenty of amusing moments. My only issue with the film is that its very brisk pace can feel overwhelming. It doesn't have many moments to breathe, which on one hand helps keep the film feel exciting, but some parts I wish were more developed (especially learning to fly). I can see kids being confused at times. The movie is only about an hour and a half long, which is atypical for Snyder. It's also his only movie that isn't PG-13 or R. It's a shame we never got a sequel because overall I had a great time with this one.

Synopsis
