02/18/2021 The plot is only part of the movie, really. The depiction of the struggles of native americans is the real point. The music is right on. The casting is a little off with Adolph Martinez as one of the principal characters. I'd much rather have seen this part go to an authentic. Not that Martinez does a bad job. The story is a little unfinished; I'd like to have seen them return to their reservation and mess up the corporation trying to steal their land. See more 04/18/2020 Love this movie. It may be one of the best of the movies about modern Native Americans. Sad to say, the list is not very long. They touch on issues of the Indian reservations including poverty and mining corporations but that's only a sub plot to the film.
