  • We are back to the flavor of the original seasons and get away from the 24 and Alias flavor the series took on in the last season.

More Prison Break...which is never a bad thing. A nice end to the series, although it is pretty weird watching this after seeing the end of the series in season 4 (and to be honest, season 4's ending was so good, I liked the way it handled the ending much better than the Final Break did). That aside, this is still very entertaining, and like I said, a nice conclusion to the series. However, it's obviously rushed because this was probably supposed to be the main storyline of the 5th season, which never occurred because the show was cancelled after the 4th season. What I don't understand is the subject matter itself...when I heard that there was a wrap-up film for the series, I figured it would have to do with the Paul Kellerman angle, explaining where he and the other major characters he had been working with for the duration of the 3rd and 4th seasons had been up to. His appearance at the end of season 4 (though enjoyable because Kellerman was my favorite character in the series and I thought he was dead) was totally out of left field, and I'm guessing I wasn't the only one who wanted an explanation for what he had been doing when everyone thought he was dead. One more issue I had with The Final Break is that the setup is pretty half-assed...the charges against Sarah are stupid and weren't made apparent in season 4, which is when this woud have happened...telling fans that there was a loose end when everything was over isn't fair, to say the least.

Well i gotta say this has been a pleasure. Watching all 4 seasons over and over and falling in love with the character from the tv series, this movie is a treat for P Break fans. I'm guessing they made this to distort/explain any ideas we had about the end of the tv series, and this here is like milk to cookies. Everything connects, since there was a gap, unexplained events in a certain time that finally got an answer. This movie is genius, same as within the series, the team once again find themselves in the "rare" occasion of having to break someone out of jail, someone that holds the key to the ending of Season 4 of Prison Break. For those who are acquainted with the genius that is Prison Break this movie is better, would've made a helluva material for the actual series, for those that haven't seen Prison Break (ALL OF IT), seriously do not watch it, it will spoil absolutely every bit of brilliancy this show showed me episode by episode. I'm just glad this movie kept everything and modified nothing from the original story. Kudos. Well done Peace!

Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and the team are back and this time they are together to break Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) out of prison. She's arrested at her wedding for the murder of Michael's mother. The former boss of the company puts out a hit on Sara as revenge on Michael. Will they break her out before someone gets to her ? This movie made me realize how much I missed the show. It is a little predictable due to the series finale already showing us the future of key characters. Yet, the movie is still exciting and fun but mostly due to seeing the cast together again. I wish NBC would release made for DVD movies for My Name is Earl and Las Vegas bringing closure to those shows. Especially since unlike Prison Break they never had a series finale.
