A film made for those who still write letters and know how to appreciate the classic calligraphy of John Ford and the enraged twisted lines of all the solitary renegades of old Hollywood. [Full Review in Spanish]

One of the worst scripts put to screen this year and the problems certainly don't stop there.

Rambo is an icon of popular culture - like Rocky - that Stallone, at 73, keeps active. This film directed by Adrian Grunberg evidences it. [Full Review in Spanish]

It felt like a rehash of the old, formerly beloved character trying to relive his glory days. Simply put, the franchise has overstayed its welcome.
October 16, 2019
It's really a drive-in movie.

Last Blood offers a fitting albeit lacklustre conclusion to John Rambo's story.
October 13, 2019
It's a tough one. It's a decent bit of mindless, blood-soaked fun with a strong performance from Stallone and some decent moments of emotion, which is what you'd expect from Rambo.

The last twenty minutes are gratuitous violence. [Full review in Spanish]

Rambo did such a fine job of rescuing the character from simplistic jingoism that it is almost painful to watch Stallone going back to the well one more time, especially when the narrative justification is simultaneously so weak and so exploitative.

What is left in this contemporary conflict is a parody of itself, which is what works best. A gory and iconoclastic violence that mocks its own people and others. [Full Review in Spanish]

...[a] numbing escapist action thriller. Indeed, this pump and pain-driven spectacle meant to draw some shock value blood is in serious need of a toxic transfusion.
October 8, 2019
Surprisingly non-terrible.
October 6, 2019
What better test than to let Rambo live on without rest. [Full Review in Spanish]
October 4, 2019
It's almost as if Stallone himself has killed someone undeserving, just to afford him the opportunity to make the story work.
October 4, 2019
While Stallone is back and game to dish out the pain, it's safe to say that Rambo's famous Bowie knife has officially dulled.
October 3, 2019
Racist in addition to being offensive in its sadism.
October 3, 2019
The latest entry in the long-running saga is a bleak affair, but there's some fun to be had if you can make it past the stomach-churning parts.
October 2, 2019
Feels more like Stallone's hard R version of Taken than a Rambo movie, but it the third act absolutely delivers the mayhem and vengeance genre fans want.
October 2, 2019
Indeed, the majority of the mercifully short running time is spent setting up a bloodthirsty climax that fails to deliver on almost every level, leaving audiences as jaded as the hero himself.
October 2, 2019
Gross, stupid, sleazy, exploitative and almost certainly falsely titled.
