Karan K @RT13289376 12 hrs ago I didn’t know i was missing a masterpiece and i watched it and absolutely loved it, everything in this movie was spot on. Must watch. 100/100 See more Marco L @decatur555 4 days ago Some films go beyond cinema, and this is one of them. Schindler's List isn't only a story, it's memory and testimony. Spielberg approaches the Holocaust with a sensitivity that shakes you and the clarity needed for the message to outlast generations. The black and white sharpens every image, and each shot serves historical truth. Despite its length it never drags, because what it tells weighs too much for distraction. Liam Neeson gives Schindler a fascinating ambiguity, torn between self-interest and conscience. Ralph Fiennes embodies the chilling coldness of Nazism, and Ben Kingsley adds humanity and balance. Together they make the scale of it human. It is hard and uncompromising, and never softens the tragedy. Spielberg's achievement is technical, yes, but above all ethical and human. This isn't just a masterpiece, it's a moral obligation for anyone who loves cinema and believes in its power as memory. It hurts, it moves and it teaches. You never forget it. See more Andrew T @RT72355796 Oct 19, 2026 This is basically a documentary. The way this movie was shot is absolutely stunning! What an absolutely heartbreaking moment in human history. What an absolutely stunning way to bring it to life. There are no words to describe how utterly breathtaking and emotional this movie is! 10/10 See more Huntin P @PaxVobiscum80 Oct 17, 2026 Mesmerizing performances by the three leads, Neeson / Kingsley / Fiennes. Schindler's List, based upon a novel, describes that most notorious aspect of WW2, the concentration camps and the Final Solution. Schindler, a profiteer keen to make a few friends and heaps of money, sets himself up as a factory owner employing Jews at a cut rate, making whatever is wanted for the war effort. When he and his latest bit of skirt see the raising of the ghetto by Nazi soldiers, and the ensuing panic and horror, his conscience awakens, and a new priority overtakes his need for pleasure. He decides to try and save his people, his workers. This movie, entertaining even as it is distressing, is more sensational, less purely hate-filled, than Polanski's later The Pianist. Spielberg brings all his mastery of cinema to bear on Schindler's List, but at the ending his tendency towards melodrama and sentimentality finally get the better of him. Still, the presentation of the ring to Schindler is a moment! See more Gareth V @geewah Oct 15, 2026 Spielberg rises to the challenge with a seriousness, restraint and fury that few expected of him, and the result is a masterpiece that is essential viewing.
