Movie Info

The lively world of roller-disco provides the backdrop for this swingin' comedy from the late '70s. The story is set at a typical roller disco palace where a race is scheduled to occur. Naturally the clean-cut good guy is pitted against a black leather clad heavy. The film may be most interesting to TV buffs as it features a number of stars from popular 1970's sitcoms. It also marks the feature film debut of Patrick Swayze who plays the bad guy and proves himself to be a pretty good skater.

  • To give you an idea of the innocence of the time period and mindset behind the movie, Bradford performs his solo show to The Village People's Macho Man, and there's not even the hint of a homoerotic tint to it, he even courts Swayze's younger sister.
