TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 3 days ago Preach Pray Love feels like a Lifetime movie, and unfortunately, it is bland. A superstar rapper falls for a pastor and tries to change her life. The premise has potential, mixing celebrity culture, faith, and personal growth, but the film never does enough with those ideas. It takes the easy route and leaves the story flat. The screenplay is the biggest problem. The dialogue feels rough, and the plot misses chances to build conflict or make the romance convincing. Instead of exploring personal change, the film rushes past the possibilities. The characters lack depth, and the story moves along without giving viewers a reason to stay invested. Ultimately, Preach Pray Love was lackluster and boring. I struggled to connect with a story that gave me little to care about. Lifetime movies can deliver drama, but this one never finds that balance. There were chances to make it stronger, yet it settles for something forgettable.
