U.S. soldiers Allan "Ize" Isaac and Shane Matthews answer a distress call in the desert of postwar Iraq. Suddenly, gunshots erupt, leaving Shane badly injured and Allan with a bullet in his leg. Forced to take cover behind a crumbling stone wall, Isaac now finds himself in a fight for survival against an unseen sniper who has all of the advantages.

Definately not what I expected. Great movie. I think because John Cena was in it people thought it would be another kick ass movie. It was much deeper than I anticipated with some big surprises.

Interesting story overall, however, unrealistic for the most part. Hacking into comms and the ending made no sense at all. The wrap up was terrible and could've been made a lot better into a cliffhanger for many more parts to come. It would've been cool to see the Ghost (Juba) or have sort of continuation of his story in future movies.

I was really into this movie. But I was disappointed with the ending. It made no sense (especially physics wise). They should have stuck to the original ending. This completely lost the build up during the movie. It went from "possibly authentic" to pure fiction.

Not your typical "American hero soldiers who never do anything bad or make a mistake" military movie. Offers a subtle and realistic take on military occupation. Pacing was a little slow but Aaron-Taylor Johnson is great and was able to build enough tension to make it entertaining. The end makes it all worth it.
