It’s an ambitious shotgun marriage of too many ideas that end up seeming underdeveloped and rushed within a conventional feature runtime. Go to Full Review

The suggestion is that emotional responses to this relooping drama can be somehow calibrated. It feels like an apologia, complete with cut-and-paste disaster imagery, for algorithmic entertainment. Go to Full Review

Bad H @RT96411615 2d I generally enjoy South Korean movies, and The Great Flood was no different. The premise was interesting and the special effects weren’t too bad. It took me about a third of the way through to realise this wasn’t going to be your usual disaster movie, and that’s where it became much more interesting. The plot twist changes your understanding of what you’ve been watching and makes you look back at some of the earlier events differently. I liked that it took the film beyond the fairly familiar "survive the catastrophe" storyline without giving the game away too early. I watched it with the English dub, and my only real annoyance was the child’s dubbed voice. The dubbing made him sound particularly whiny at times, which became a bit grating. Overall, it’s something different and worth a watch. See more Marjorie H @Marjo1987 5d I know the kid was just being a kid but all that whining and crying was so annoying I nearly turned it off. Overall this wasn‘t bad but it wasn’t good either. See more R. B @R1313R Aug 31 This movie started normally, and escalated rapidly, which is great for an action movie. But then it went in a direction that I didn't expect before twisting once again. I thought the actors were pretty good as well. I enjoyed the last direction it went into, even though by then I expected it. It was worth a one-time watch. 5/10. See more Lincoln D @Linclovesmovies Aug 17 Its abrupt shift from a gripping survival thriller to a confusing artificial intelligence simulation twist undercuts everything they had built up before it came crashing down. See more Kit L @Kitz_Editz123435 Aug 6 Literally do not know what to say about this film, really. It's so bad it's a bit like the Apex film, but just underwater and much worse, and when I'm saying it has no plot, it has no plot. 2 stars.
