03/25/2014 The second entry in the "Why We Fight" series of propaganda films from Frank Capra focuses mostly on the how the Nazis came to power and how they began to invade other countries and enforce slave labor. It is hard to be critical of propaganda that was mostly made to encourage folks to fight those assholes. See more 08/08/2010 A bit dryer than the first film, but still quite engaging. Not very thoughtful though, but then it would be silly to expect such a thing. The monumental cock-up of Chamberlain et al feels like the centerpiece, but Capra and Litvak wisely avoid a holier-than-thou attitude in regards to that.
