I enjoyed watching the humble beginnings Tony had and experiences in that shaped his young life. Antonio Banderas really harnassed the character of Owner/Chef & Mentor bringing a young man Tony to the man we all love and miss Anthony Bourdain. I recommend seeing this movie if you enjoyed Reservations with Anthony Bourdain.

They did a good job ending it on an up beat. Did leave out a lot from his book and ended before his addictions started. overall a very respectful biopic. I would still strongly recommend reading kitchen confidential to get the full story though.
