Alan P 09/15/2024 How this can score 100% is beyond me, the acting is mediocre at best, it's way too long at 2hr 45m, and not a patch on films like Boyz N The Hood or Menace II Society. Almost 3 hours of my life I won't get back!!! See more Amaris C 06/09/2024 Movie was great! Lol no one was over acting , kept me entertained! Loved it! Ready for Pt.2 !!! See more Ethan M 05/07/2024 "Un-Resolved" is a poignant tale that delves deep into redemption, the relentless grip of the past, and the unyielding cycle of violence. Directed and written by Bruce Carlton Cunningham JR, this film unfolds with raw authenticity and emotional depth. "Un-Resolved" follows the journey of a father striving to forge a new path after his release from prison, determined to set things right for his children. Yet, fate has its own designs, and his past threatens to derail his newfound purpose. One of the film's most compelling aspects is its exploration of the repercussions of revenge, illuminating how it perpetuates a vicious cycle of violence that knows no end. Cunningham crafts richly defined characters, each grappling with their own inner demons and struggles, mirroring truths about the human condition and the interconnectedness of our actions. As the narrative unfolds, it becomes evident that once the wheels are set in motion, there's no turning back. The film underscores the challenges of change, highlighting the formidable barriers posed by one's environment, social circles, and societal perceptions. Yet, amidst the turmoil, there shines a beacon of hope in the form of redemption—a theme central to the protagonist's journey. Cunningham's filmmaking prowess is evident throughout, evoking the gritty authenticity of 70s cinema that resonates with audiences. From the emotive montages to the stirring soundtrack, every element of "Un-Resolved" contributes to its immersive storytelling experience. "Un-Resolved" is more than just a film—it's a poignant reflection on the human spirit's capacity for redemption, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. It is such an achievement that Bruce Carlton Cunningham, wrote, directed, and played the lead role as doing even one of those roles is incredibly challenging. The story had some great tension and twists to it and overall was a solidly developed redemption arc. While a bit of a slow burn at times (I do think it could have been tightened up in some spots), it never feels like it drags. I definitely recommend this film if you are looking for a unique take on the crime genre. See more Melly B 04/27/2024 This indie suspense film is a must see. With great pacing, superb acting, and beautiful cinematography, it tackles the issues of revenge and where to draw the line. Essentially it boils down to family but not without its many twists. I recommend it for an engaging experience. See more Stephen S 04/01/2024 This was a wholesome movie and covered alot of bases! You had drama, suspense, and even plenty of action!
