a clear classic, fun-filled zom-com full of gut, Gore, and lots of laughs, Ruben fleischer definitely uses his rules, while directing this to make it the best zombie movie ever. with a great cast of Woody harrelson, Emma Stone and Jessie essienberg this movie can't be killed
This movie is pedal-to-the-metal funny from start to finish. Of course, it's zombie-themed humor so if that turns your stomach then definitely skip this one. The action is fun, but it's the interpersonal dialogue that is the real highlight of this movie. It was one of the first movies to heavily feature text digitally inserted into the space of the scene, and its comedic impact hasn't been matched since. And it has a pitch-perfect mid-movie character turn that raises the whole movie to another level.
Closest Comparison: It's the fun comedy version of movies like 28 Days Later and I Am Legend.
Zombieland wants to be funny. And with Bill Murray's cameo it's a strong effort. But you can't have a funny lighthearted comedy with blood guts and gore.
TOP 5 greatest comedies EVER !
This movie never slows down and keeps a fast and funny pace. One of the best spoof movies ever.
who doesn't want to watch Woody Harrelson and little miss sunshine shoot zombies.
Movie is really good. It is really funny and horrorfying at the same time your gonna jump in laughter!
Entertained but not great
Rule Number 33, You Must Like This Movie!!!!!
A comedy/horror with a decent mix of chuckles and gore. The zombies take a back seat to a small group of survivors that band together by chance and struggle with trusting each other. A reluctant bond forms and it's all for one and one for all by the end. Nice effects on the zombies, though most are shown in groups and not close up. This movie made a zombie apocalypse fun.
