Aug 17, 2022Males lead is exhaustingly insecure and indecisive in his personal life yet seems to be the "go to" guy for everyone else's problems. Beautiful New Zealand small town. Shay, eldest daughter is selfish, self-involved and insensitive throughout all seasons. Actually few really likeable characters devoid of constant drama except the one who's off-kilter and clueless about relationships. Better than most US series.

May 09, 2021Season One was fun, Season Two even more engaging and enjoyable and Season Three really hit the show's stride: We came to care a lot about the characters and the plots, as silly as they sometimes are. A big part of this is that the characters have been fleshed out in some effective ways. This isn't high brow entertainment by any means, but it offers an engaging mix of chuckles, touching scenes and even situations that audiences can relate to.

Apr 16, 2021In this 3rd series the cast of characters were allowed to explore different perspectives and the series was all the better for it. Yes, the 'ending' could have been better in terms of tying up loose ends but they probably expected (and deserved) a 4th series.
