Critic Reviews for Alice in Borderland Season 1
All Critics (6) | Top Critics (1) | Fresh (5) | Rotten (1)
Watching under-resourced and outgunned heroes overcome the odds is eternally satisfying -- and as Arisu insists, every game has a solution.
Alice In Borderland is one of those very rare new shows, that isn't based on a superhero or other franchise that I have genuinely enjoyed so much.
Alice in Borderland has the fun factor and visuals present to make it worth watching.
Despite what seems like a depressing, dystopian set up, it shows flashes of having a sense of humor.
The production is slick, the action is well-choreographed and exciting, the games are clever, and the characters are believable as best friends thrust into an unpredictable and dangerous situation.
Few of the cast leave much impression, though Tsuchiya makes for an effective action heroine, and Nijiro Murakami has some fun as a smirking loner.

Jan 21, 2021This Show Is A Must Watch I have only ever seen a few foreign shows like dark and money heist, when it comes to this show there is so much potential. Jan 15, 2021Honestly, absolutely worth a watch. I didn't even realise it was based off a book, which I am definitely going to buy. If you like anime, you will love this. It's better to watch in Japanese with English subtitles instead of dubbed!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
