Kevin Sorbo from 90's Hercules stars as Captain Dylan in this Sci-fi startrek-type episodic TV action/comedy. Lots of charming and quirky characters, aliens, planets and civilizations. Any Trek fan might enjoy this, as its from Gene Roddenberry. Cheesy effects, buts its from 2000 so what can you expect. Give it a try!

It's from 2000, so expect it to look dated, but with 5 seasons, any sci-fi fan should watch it.

A wonderful adaptation of Gene's earlier work Genesis II, Planet Earth, and Strange New World. It brings in many new concepts we did not see in the earlier versions and yet, carries through the main topics from them. the first four years are the best of the series, though you should watch the fifth too. It brings closure as corny as it might be to the series. As far as this being a Star Trek Clone, that is like saying Star Wars is a clone too. Ppl. pay attention to the plot and see how far from Star Trek this truly is.
