Rebecca Wright parties hard, rocks out as the drummer in a band with her best friend and presides over court in Los Angeles as one of the toughest and most-respected --if unorthodox -- criminal court judges in town. While being well-established in her professional life, her wild-child lifestyle has left her untethered in her personal life, despite a bevy of male admirers. But when an 8-year-old whose parents she sentenced shows up needing her help, he seems poised to be the guy who finally ties Rebecca down.

See more 01/16/2015 I absolutely love this show. It shows the American Legal system from a comedic point of view, and it does so with a slightly feminist perspective. It comes to light that the main character is in fact a brilliant lawyer, who went on to become a judge. I think this show is funny, cute and witty. Looking forward to a second season! See more 12/01/2014 I'm not normally a comedy fan, and I have to admit, I almost signed this show off. The first episode was a little rocky. I didn't see it holding long term water, but there's been more character development for Walsh's character in 8 episodes than there have been in most of the leading characters in the crime dramas. Chalk one up for the crime comedy. Even if the only crime is sexual harassment in the court room. It's a good laugh right when I need one without being too over the top.
