The episodes hit hard, the villains are fantastic, and the character team‑ups are always fun — the interactions feel straight out of the comics. My only real issues are with the structure. The seasons aren’t very connected, and there are barely any references to previous episodes, which makes the whole show feel more standalone than serialized. You can watch almost everything in any order, and sometimes I wish there were stronger callbacks. I also would’ve liked more origin‑focused episodes for villains like Killer Croc, Penguin, and especially Joker. They hint at his past, but an early dedicated origin episode would’ve been great. Other than those small complaints, the show is basically perfect. Still stylish, still brooding, still *very* Batman—but the stories feel more hit-or-miss this time around. There are a few standouts that remind you why this show’s legendary, but also a fair share of forgettable plots and weaker villains. It doesn’t hit as hard as Season 1, but it’s still a solid ride through Gotham. At 67%, it’s good, just not *great*. Still worth watching, especially with *Mask of the Phantasm* right around the corner.
