The main character has now almost completely lost touch with reality, but he's still a c*mpl*te f*ck*ng id*ot! This 'season' is split into two seasons from Japan. First part is pretty much a long tournament to see who's going to be in the royal knights, a group whose going to specifically attack the eye of the midnight sons. The second part is dealing with the eye of the midnight sun. There is a lot of flash back episodes to fill in the character backstories and development. A few filler episodes which I just ended up skipping as they have no real relevance to the storyline. 4th season ends in a cliff hanger and the storyline with the eyes of the midnight sun keeps going on and on and on...doesn't this guy have an imagination for other stories.
