Featuring stand-alone dramas -- sharp, suspenseful, satirical tales that explore techno-paranoia -- "Black Mirror" is a contemporary reworking of "The Twilight Zone" with stories that tap into the collective unease about the modern world. Each story features its own cast of unique characters, including stars like Bryce Dallas Howard ("The Help"), Alice Eve, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tom Cullen and Jerome Flynn ("Game of Thrones"). Joe Wright, Dan Trachtenberg, and James Watkins are among the featured directors.

MBI M @MNZGamerX Sep 6, 2026 Like S3, this Season starts of with a cracker of an episode which explores the idea of technological progress empowering the megalomaniacal creeps amongst us and although far fetched it does have a point since even if a quarter of what is shown actually becomes reality it would be terrifying. E2 is a slow burn psychological drama but the end is emotionally traumatic and carries an important message. E3 is horrific and shows how technological progress could inadvertently bring out the worst demons and traits in humans and in this episode that of self preservation at any cost. E4 is a melodrama about dating and when hazardous at the best of times AI seems to make the experience even worse but things are not as simple or straightforward as one might assume. E5 is set in a dystopian world with few humans that are hounded by mechanical dogs and that is about it. E6 again explores the subject of technological experimentation mixed in with greed and ambition that leads to psychological trauma See more Titus A @Titus_Andronicus Jan 13, 2026 Season 4, Episode 5, METALHEAD. This is the all around best of Black Mirror episodes. There are many good ones. But Metalhead is the best. I wish they would have made a entire series or a feature length move out of this underlying story of the future. Charlie Brooker wrote the brilliant story and David Slade directed it perfectly and the and Aaron Morton did the amazing cinematography. Thank you to all three for making the pants down best Black Mirror episode. See more Nick S @NickSpecter Dec 31, 2023 Excellent season with some very interesting, engaging, and innovative stories. See more Matthew C @RT92480507 Jul 20, 2023 Pretty much equal to season 3. Metalhead is the weakest, but all episodes are very entertaining. Hang the DJ and Crocodile the best, in my opinion. See more Alessandro A @RT14928326 Jun 22, 2023 Hang the DJ and USS Callister were pure fun I enjoyed them to the point that I had to watch them both again. Also Black Museum had a nice twist and is enjoyable. The rest was so and so.
