What is this with the dramatic pause after the penultimate word of a sentence which is creeping in, usually but not exclusively, preceding a name? It just sounds so unnatural - nobody talks like that. Shame as I enjoyed the Mancunian setting but couldn't make it past episode three. See more Angie 01/22/2025 This show is great. Sexy, great storyline, drama, action, trauma, love. And it's all balanced exceptionally well. I'm only on the 3rd episode and I'm sold. I just pray that they don't cancel it.
