Grace and Frankie (2015)

Season 1
Grace and Frankie

Critics Consensus

Grace and Frankie's stellar cast adds an undeniable appeal, although its sloppy dialogue and clichéd sitcom setup will still leave most viewers wanting.

Critic Reviews for Grace and Frankie: Season 1

Audience Reviews for Grace and Frankie: Season 1

  • Apr 28, 2021
Though it had some rocky moments at the start, Grace And Frankie is hysterical all the same. Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda run the show with playful banter, and a fun dynamic.
  • Apr 25, 2021
Can't help but think this is partly inspired by the British TV comedy "Absolutely Fabulous." Doesn't help that Frankie & Grace look like Edwina & Pat, & both series have a husband that left his wife for another man.
  • Mar 20, 2021
Critics of this show only prove they know nothing about good television. I can only hope they choke on the D—K of that high horse they obviously have no clue there riding. 😁

    Drew me in, right away.

I should preface this by saying that my wife loves this show and would probably give it five stars. I give it four: it's a light, feel-good show with heart. Fonda and Tomlin make a great, amusing team, as do their ex-husbands. The actress who plays Fonda's cold daughter with a secret heart of gold (usually) is hilarious.

    Super funny, I recommend it

Identity politics meets liberal thinking sprinkled with some lame humour.
  • Jul 21, 2020
Two seasons, maybe three ok. Six seasons of this and I feel like Jane Fonda really hates staying unemployed for one single day.

The first few seasons are good
