Johnny Miller was a typical 15-year-old, getting good grades and finding success on the sports field until the night a year ago when his father committed suicide. Now Johnny lives in Palm Springs with his mother and her new husband. On the outside, Palm Springs is a paradise - but as Johnny learns the secrets that lie just beneath the surface of this seemingly typical neighborhood, he and his family wonder how well they really know the people who live right next door.

The inherent duality of the dramatic experience is inelegantly exemplified by Hidden Palms, and if you are enjoying this convoluted assessment, you should especially appreciate the show. Go to Full Review

[Taylor] Handley, although already looking too old for HP, does bring an at times appealing presence to the show's meatiest role. He's got an attitude, but a well-earned one. Go to Full Review

steve d 07/27/2020 The series is sunk not by its story or the cast as a unit but because it's lead is so boring and poorly acted. See more Read all reviews
