Ferdinand B @RT16429873 04/28/2025 Season two doubles down on everything that made Season one good: The spy-inspired theme as context for the game-playing, the sound track (including music that sounds a lot like "You Spin Me Round" by Dead or Alive), and all the absurd situations the characters get into that somehow resonate with real-life experiences related to that first love. The homage to Peanuts was very much appreciated! While other anime series (like Rent-A-Girlfriend) lose momentum, as of the second season, this one is doing an outstanding job of keeping an infuriatingly frustrating situation fresh. See more Idan Charles L @Idanlevine 01/15/2025 Not as peak as season 1 but still peak See more 01/20/2021 De alguna manera mas intimista en los personajes, sin dejar su lado cĂ³mico y trascendente See more 09/11/2020 Great animation and intelligent pacing for this psychologic comedy. See more 07/21/2020 Kaguya-sama puts director Omata as the best director of 2020 easily. The plot created by Akasaka Aka is also one of the best crafted if not the best in anime this year, many anime require you to turn your brain off or else you are going to stop enjoying it, but Kaguya is different, this series shout to you all the time that you need to pay attention to every detail. Also, the characters are real characters, not only plot devices like in most stories nowadays. This series and second season in particular will go down as one of the best anime of all time, funny, well crafted, perfectly directed, on par with classics like Fullmetal Alchemist. See more 06/28/2020 This Anime is one of the best out there, as someone who personally was into more serious combat genre's this was new for me and I wasn't having the best expectations considering it was my first time watching an anime like it. But now that I've watched all two seasons it is an incredible anime, I would recommend everyone who watches anime or is into the comedy romcom in general to watch this. Character development is flawless, every episode has a new fun and entertaining event that will make you want to see more. Whilst you have these fun and wacky things going on there are more deeper stories embedded with each individual character in the show and you learn more and more every episode. At the end of the second season (no spoilers) it didn't feel like it was an ending episode, it felt like a totally typical episode of Love Is War, which makes it so much better. The next season got confirmed for next year even before the last episode of the second season came out. More then majority of viewers will truly be entertained in fully invested into this incredible entertaining story. If you're looking to get into anime and want to find a good one to start with, this anime is your best choice. This exceeded my expectations and many more. T See more Read all reviews
