See more gareth 04/11/2022 From nuanced satire to vicious lampooning to, oddly some might think, an educational channel, John Oliver brings his particular brand of humour to audiences. The makers as usual take great pains to inform themselves before they inform us on any number of important issues , and it's all delivered by the incomparable John Oliver. It's my weekly dose of both comedy and sanity, and I need it now more than ever. See more ripper j @RJ2099 03/07/2022 This is the best comedy on TV. I never miss an episode. I appreciate how they take an in-depth look at the week's topic. Also, I enjoy John's sense of humor. He's funnier on this show than back when he was on TDS. The only part of the show I don't care for is the "And Now This" segment. It's annoying listening to people repeat the same phrase over and over. I get the point he's making with it, but still, it's annoying. Yep, "And Now This" is annoying. The Picture of Oliver on the Show marque (Picture) is very Apro-pas (appropriate) as I imagine that's how most of his limited audience feels after watching more than one episode. Not recommended.
