M V @Mervn Aug 31, 2026 One of my favourite LIB seasons of all the various global iterations. Some global LIB seasons were leaning too far into inauthentic influencer-wannabe rage-bait type casting. Whilst at times, you’re certainly wondering about some people and relationships, overall I truly enjoyed this season. Made my heart sing. See more L. F @RT68678650 Aug 24, 2026 A group of people convince themselves they're destined for each other, based on some pretty basic commonalities (e.g. being close with family, liking travel, enjoying physical touch) and how well they describe their fantasy futures to one another. Then they meet in real life and quickly find out that it's not realistic to prioritise someone you've only know for 14 days and that connections feel different once you're no longer in an intense one-on-one environment being told how special you are. Shock horror! Yes, there are some deeper conversations and cute moments to witness, but most of the show's entertainment come from the fall outs and car crash moments. Let's not pretend this is any different from all the other reality TV dating shows out there. In light of all the recent MAFS revelations, I think the format of these shows really needs to change and a lot more needs to be done to protect participants.
