Based on the crime-novel series by author Caroline Graham, "Midsomer Murders" follows the efforts of Detective Chief Inspector John Barnaby to solve crimes that occur in the wealthy, isolated English county of Midsomer, a picturesque and peaceful place on the outside but one filled with amoral and snobbish eccentrics with all kinds of vices. His latest assistant is Detective Sergeant Jamie Winter. DCI Barnaby took over in series 14, replacing his older cousin, Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby, who retired.

12/03/2019 I've always been a fan of Midsomer murders though constantly wondering just how the murder rate is in that small town. But still the intrigue and mystery keep me hooked. As usual the season did not disappoint, kept me intrigued through all the episodes can't wait for season 21! See more 12/28/2018 I truly enjoy watching this series! I have watched ever episode. Netflix has latest episodes. One of the best series on PBS. If your station gets it you should watch. WETA in DC: Please buy the newer episodes! At least this series is appreciated in the UK.
