This show had all the makings of greatness. A great premise and an amazing location. The relatively unknown cast has potential, but there are a number of drawbacks. The biggest one is honestly the prettiest. The girl that plays whistler is terrible. Also this is a crime show about catching criminals, but it feels more like i am watching a soap opera about Lucy's love life. some background could be nice, but it feels like half of what we are watching.- the writers should know their audience better than this after 20 years.

As a spinoff NCIS series, I enjoyed this one as much as I did the original NCIS. Great characters, great character chemistry and relationships and I loved the integration of the Hawaiian concept of Ohana (family).

I think that this show has a lot of diversity! It is shot in Hawaii which is probably the most diverse place in the United States, it has an interracial and LGBTQ+ couple, and has a woman in charge unlike the other NCIS franchises. It can be challenging to find all that in a single show/movie but here we are! Besides that, I think the characters were well written and the acting is great! Every episode is very entertaining and I never find myself wanting to look at my phone. 10/10!

I intensely dislike this version of NCIS, I find the character listless and not interesting in any way shape, or form. I hope it gets canceled and something with depth replaces it.

i'm from the UK and love everything NCIS except NCIS Hawaii The acting is terrible they all just stand there reciting one line scripts with no passion, no one works together the storylines are poor The only actor that gives any joy to the program is Jason Antoon yet i keep watching in the hope that things can only get better

It's so refreshing to see and everything I have been looking for in a crime show. I haven't really enjoyed any other shows of the same genre since Rizzoli and Isles. This series is definitely for a younger generation audience or hip older folks with its progressiveness but that's exactly the direction shows like this need to go in if they are to stand the test of time. Not a perfect show but I am a happy watcher, I Just love it!

I am a huge NCIS fan. (All of them). I hate the direction the program is taking.. All the BS about the relationship between the Fed and Tara is soooo irrelevant so boring.... In all the NCIS' it's been good clean fun, there have been hints of relationships behind the scenes but this blatant side of the program... falling into bed, blathering on and on about it absolutely sucks. If S2E3 is more of the same! I'm taking it off my watchlist. Count me out!!!!!
