This ended up being a refreshing change of events.

May 1, 2014 | Full Review…

As great as it was, I would have preferred to see the two parts back-to-back weeks with the time jump as the cliffhanger. The long summer wait was well worth it though.

Audience Reviews for NCIS: Los Angeles: Season 5

  • Oct 18, 2014
Though it make a few daring choices, Season 5 of NCIS: Los Angeles is cliched, formulaic tripe. The show really shoots itself in the foot by removing the Kensi Blye character from the team and setting her up in a B story in Afghanistan for half the season. The storytelling is bad all around; the character stories, the cases, the multiple episode arcs, they're all messy and confusing. And the tone of the show is inconsistent, switching between lighthearted goofiness and life and death seriousness from scene to scene. After five seasons, NCIS: Los Angeles has failed to evolve and feels stale.
