See more R B @R1313R 12/26/2024 I loved how Oshi no Ko portrayed what it is like to be a professional idol in Japan. The stresses, the secrets that need to be kept in order to keep your fanbase, and what some idols are willing to do to be able to be the dream that their fans need them to be. The first episode ran for a lot longer than I expected, which as a pleasent surprise. I didn't expect a full-length movie as the first episode, and it was pretty sweet to be able to have the first episode go into great depth. It was nice to be able to watch things unfold naturally and uninterrupted with openings and endings. And of course, it set the tone for the rest of the series. I haven't read the manga, but I am hoping that there will be a second season of Oshi no Ko, since the anime left many things unanswered. Oshi no Ko season 2 is definitely worth waiting for. 7/10. When I noticed it also had an anime I watched it immediately and to be honest I thing it has one of the best animation I’ve ever seen in anime. I would rate it 13+ since the first episode is a bit violent (and emotional I cried🥲) but it’s not too bad. Highly recommend.
