John B @John33051 Feb 1 The 1st season was great, Lacy Turner was excellent and believable. I was hopeful for season 2 but beautiful as Michelle Keegan is , it left me flat. She comes off like 'army medic Barbie' . She has makeup and eyelashes out in the field? Come on! She is not as good as Lacy Turner in that kind of roll. I kept watching hoping for more but too much fluff and bed hopping . She just doesn't come off as a gritty field medic . See more 03/24/2021 Season 2 starts of with a completely new character. No introduction with the new lead character. Season 2 basically took the same characters and ignored the all the good things in the first season. For more of a soapy love drama and a watered down version of spooks. Star Wars: the last jedi, was better than this season with story writing. See more 12/29/2020 Ugh! What happened to this great, gritty show? Did they change writers? Lacey Turner as Molly was completely believable. There was fear, true-to-life war drama regarding Afghanistan (my husband was there as a civilian with the army), respect for senior ranks, the sexual tension between Molly Dawes and Captain James, etc. Now it's become the Michelle Keegan show (she wasn't that great on Coronation Street either) hopping from bed to bed. It seems that's all it's focused on. Maisie Williams mouthing off to senior NCO's and never getting hauled up on the carpet for it.
