Remarkably unfunny and completely disrespectful to a major religious holiday. HBO wouldn't dare release an animated show that was so blatantly hateful about any other religion.

Terrible. Not funny when it was supposed to be funny, making fun of christmas in a bad way.

It really seems to serve no purpose other than to communicate a blind hatred toward conservative Americans who either have a certain faith, or grew up within the culture of it. I'm not understanding what is being presented of even the slightest value here. It's like watching an elaborate hate letter made into a film, and you can see they strained to figure out how to even attempt this. You can't just express hatred as a film that you expect to profit from. No one has time to listen to how weirdly messed up you are over your intense hatreds of other human beings. It's actually very sad and I worry about the creators and those deeply involved. Get help.

Sadly, this is what I expect from Sarah and Seth. Just self righteous out of touch wealthy white people using sexism and racism to further their own career. By talking down to everyone else while not practicing what they preach. It's pure hypocritical Hubris.

Props for using motion capture; something associated with Christmas specials, thanks to Rankin Bass. Characters designs are not cohesive; looks like there were at least 2 designers with different art styles. They don;t look like they belong in the same world. 🎅 If only it had ended at episode 6... Candy gets passed up for Santa because she hates children & children hate her, but she's still given a huge promotion as head of the corporation. But no... It's not enough for her to be the brains behind the scenes. She has to be a spotlight seeking diva. 🎅 The show totally ignores foreign female Sanata figures like Befana, Babushka, & Tinga-Tinga, & the fact that Santa was based on an actual person. The humor is the type that calls itself mature but actually appeals to immature teenagers. Would have done better on MTV or Comedy Central in the early 90s. It also has double standards where spousal abuse & sexual harassment are uncool when they happen to women, but completely okay & funny when it happens to men.
