Y'all just hate fun stuff See more Christopher L @Mongooseman Feb 8 I can rarely get through anything except weekend update, which is the only consistently funny part of the show. Too left leaning, I miss SNL that berated both sides of the aisle equally and seemed a little more non partisan. Sketches often just dress up, act funny with no real punchline and many outstay their welcome. Time for new writers and better casting as well, no real stand out stars anymore. See more Martin S @Martinex Oct 21 With a few exceptions, Saturday Night Live could always be counted on for a chuckle or two. This year you'd be hard pressed to find even one. Weekend update is still fairly decent but other than that the new season has been a disaster. I thought they finally fell into a grove last year but for some unexplained reason the producer decided to blow it up...and blow it up he did. The first three episodes can only be described as painful. Hey Lorne, maybe it's not too late to beg the old cast to come back. See more Miguel Angel Y @RT74283823 Oct 20 I've always been a fan of this show, but lately, except for a few sketches, I don't find it as funny as in previous seasons. Except for Weekend Update, which is very funny, the rest of the show is tedious, and even the guests can't save it. In season 50, they brought in a bunch of SNL legends who saved many sketches and episodes. And I say this with great regret. See more Read all reviews
