Story line slow ..Come back Det Perez.. we watched 1st episode and tried 2nd to give it a chance but no good. Turned off. There are other much better series on TV. See more David D @RT39873619 02/25/2025 Definitely worth a watch. In general, sustained my interest and always enjoy the scenery and the idiosyncratic characters. Was glad it was only six episodes because had had enough of the red herrings and diversions to possible suspects. Like both leads a lot but each, especially Tosh, need to be careful not to play one note (generalization), always responding as frowning beleaguered cop whose job's at odds with friendships. Like to see Calder a little less prickly, especially toward brother (who may be under utilized). A couple loose threads perhaps picked up in next season, i.e., spy Brutus. Guess in the final analysis wish for more character development while in the framework of investigation -- kinda writing you see on "Granchester." Also, I do question a single cop going into some of the situations which seem rather dangerous. But in the end l look forward to Season 10. See more Read all reviews
