A team of agents in the British security intelligence service work to protect the U.K. from terrorists and other threats to national security. A repackaged version of the BBC series "Spooks," "MI-5" follows a counterterrorism unit based in the highly secure suite of offices called The Grid, where Harry Pearce oversees the team and deals with the often dirty politics of the spy game.

Alain E @AlainE Dec 3 The only other person to leave a review described the series as typical left wing BBC. Sounds like a person who every night checks under his bed for hidden communists. In reality this is a series with mainstream British agents fighting terrorists and such. Not overtly jingoistic, but after watching the first episode it is obvious that the good guys will always win and the male protagonist will accept the advances of the female counterpart. Original title appears to be MI 5, also available on BritBox, which is pretty well known as the equivalent of CIA and thus not clear why it had to be renamed.
