I feel like Ahsoka is falling into a common expanded universe trap where the events have to matter enough for the story to have stakes but they can’t matter so much that they impact the main-canon events.

Whatever the numbers, “Ahsoka” now feels as if it’s more solidly building toward its larger narrative at a brisker pace. Keep doing that, and the ratings -- however you choose to measure them -- should take care of themselves.

Feels a bit like a filler episode, with not a lot of development, but there is some decent action thanks to a few battles in space, and a lot of little Easter Eggs and references that will keep Rebels fans happy.
