It's a decent watch, but it uses a familiar formula seen on shows such as Veep or a watered-down The Office.

Season two does not just succeed at expanding the strong foundation that the first season has built meticulously, it also keeps escalating the stakes and tensions as well as the hilarity. Succession has solidified itself as the best TV drama of the year.

Jesse Armstrong's sharp capitalist satire is like a drug

It's in the way these characters are written, not with snappy dialogue or winking self-awareness, but with all the inelegance and uncertainty of real people.

Effortlessly shifts between a serious family drama to a farcical exploration of power and wealth.

The series has given us 10 of the best hours we have lived in the last 10 weeks. To witness the riches misery is engaging. How wonderful it is to hate the Roy's. [Full Review in Spanish]

The extended cast includes great stealth actors like J. Smith-Cameron as Gerri, the corporation's chief counsel, and Hiam Abbass as Logan's supportive but steely third wife.

Succession, the best of the lot, is a tightly wound spring of a show, the kind of addictive TV drama that rewards second and third viewings.

The performances are so compelling it is hard to look away, but the effect is like watching a car crash you are somehow also involved in.

Old, entitled babies make for brilliant comedy.

It's must-see, gripping and sometimes horrifying because it often keeps its characters in one enclosed place or another.

The show's slow burn unfolds like an Edith Wharton novel. The early scenes establish the contours of each lavish room-so that later, when it all falls apart, you can fully comprehend the destruction.

Succession is often angled as an upper-crust drama, but in fact... it succeeds as a dark comedy, a satire full of despicable characters that are inexplicably delightful to watch.

Much better than Dynasty or Falcon Crest; better written, better interpreted, more complex and bold, but without losing that air of soap opera with very bad guys and traitors and ambitious in general. [Full Review in Spanish]

Between...larger discussions of the malleability of values in the face of extravagant wealth, "Tern Haven" finds plenty of ways to put the Roys through the psychological wringer.

Succession is a series about monstrous rich people that manages to be exhilarating and grim as hell at the same time.
