Unfortunately, watching harried Americans run in and out of airports is not fascinating television. Go to Full Review

The visuals are crisp, and the ground and aerial photography help give the proper scope of what the gamers are up against. Go to Full Review

Classier than Fear Factor, clearer than The Mole and swifter than Survivor, CBS' The Amazing Race jolts the reality format with tantalizing thrills. Go to Full Review

This has the makings of the best reality show since "Survivor" -- it's a fun, exciting concept with spectacular locations. As is the case with this type of show, casting is everything -- and the contestants here look great. Go to Full Review

4.5/5

Nick S @NickSpecter 09/26/2024 Love the concept of the show. This pilot season had some issues and logical problems but overall was entertaining. I watched it once before and now again while working. See more Robbie M 07/04/2022 Suspenseful, ambitious, and full of fun contestants, "The Amazing Race 1" is one of reality TV's best entries. See more 05/27/2022 For the first season of a reality show, the cast and crew did pretty well. And who would have ever known at that time that they would have 33 more seasons to come... and counting! Lots of fighting inside of people's teams, but not a ton of it that was crossing boundaries. It is very nice to see who won, though, and will not disappoint. See more Read all reviews
