So many have failed dismally in this area, often reducing the character to an unfeeling almost sedated caricature. A good intro to the Gospels for a person who has no knowledge of the actual scriptures or who might find them inaccessible. Cons: The departure from scripture is concerning and could prove confusing for anyone who doesn’t read the word . E.g the miracle with loaves and fishes, to name one as well as a lot of the dialogue and added extras such as the relationship between Peter and his wife.
