Caroline Framke Variety 09/04/2020
"The Killing of Breonna Taylor" just can't cover everything it touches in enough depth. There are conservatively three different episodes within this single one, each worthy of more time and space than this single hour can afford it. Go to Full Review

Margot P @margotpence Dec 12 These episodes show how powerful film can be in exposing injustice, especially around racism, sexism, and abuse. This Britney Spears documentary was very striking and brought me to understand how badly she was treated by the media and the people around her. Having read her memoir, I found the film even more meaningful and it brought me admire her strength and who she is as a person on a deeper level. Overall, it’s a strong reminder that women need to be treated with respect and that bodily autonomy is a human right. See more jon s 12/09/2021 I only watched Episode 6 and it was self-indulgent, biased tripe. Between clips of the media harassing Britney Spears into insanity, moronic commentators blame everyone BUT the media (her father, her fans, the court system and, of course, the big bad patriarchy) for her current predicament. Unsurprising from a show called 'NYT Presents,' but still disappointing. See more 09/28/2021 I'm really angry that Hulu apologized for pushing this documentary after the three cops were cleared of everything but wanton endangerment. A must-watch for anyone invested in Pop Culture. See more 02/06/2021 Episode 6: Framing Britney Spears was a much needed documentary which could be an entire series of its own. Excellent reporting!! Please keep digging into the conservatorship of Britney Jean Spears!! See more Read all reviews
