This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum.

... A giant step in the right direction: it distances itself from the early season's humor knowing it's unattainable and strives to maintain its legacy with a consistency that was missing the past fifteen years. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

"Treehouse of Horror XXXII" delivers a decent number of laughs across its multiple shorts that begin with a parody of Disney movies with dead parents. Go to Full Review

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jan 21 Season 33 of The Simpsons remains entertaining, showing a series that understands its long history while still aiming to feel relevant and playful rather than tired or routine. The show has struggled before with repetition, and at times episodes in later years have felt copied instead of inspired. This season works harder to avoid that trap, borrowing familiar ideas but reshaping them with enough creativity to feel refreshed. What’s impressive is the continued world-building, something few shows can still achieve this far into their run. New character dynamics and sharp back-and-forth moments help keep the energy alive across the season. Season 33 doesn’t reinvent The Simpsons, but it proves the show can still evolve and entertain decades later, reminding viewers why Springfield still matters. It may stumble at times, but its ambition and creativity continue to stand out. Again. Yep See more Stephen C @bob25009 Jan 3 22 funny and parody episodes. Unlike previous Seasons where they just tried to be a cheap family guy copy and just have one random joke chasing the next one. I really hope they stick to this new (old) style it reminds me of the old Simpsons.
