Critics Consensus

Sinbad acquits himself capably as a winning leading man who could anchor a well-written sitcom -- unfortunately, this particular show isn't one of them.

The Sinbad Show is better than it sounds. The writing in the premiere is crisp, the cast is likable, and the time slot is the one that helped make Martin a hit. This one's a good bet to stick around for a few seasons. Go to Full Review

There isn't a line so flat the goateed comic can't milk it for a laugh. Sinbad could read the telephone book and be funny, and you get the feeling it might come to that. Go to Full Review
