Matthew Raymond C @RT19930079 Oct 15 Bonzi buddy the runt was a Nickelodeon series featuring animated shorts created by the 25 KAPR-TV company and Nickelodeon and cartoonist Lincoln Pierce who went on to create Big Nate the show features around a cartoon version of bonzi buddy featuring animated shorts that are only one minute long the first short no neck joe and dirty Birdy and aired on Nickelodeon from April 7th 1999 to August 24th 2001 in the UK the show may not be as widely remembered because it was produced on subscure projects which are animated shorts which means it was part of an anthology series rather than a widely aired or promoted show and fail to resonate with audiences and Nickelodeon thought the content had inappropriate content within the shorts which is why Nickelodeon ultimately canceled the series after two seasons the second season premiered on July 27th 2000 and only air for a limited time we need it didn't have long-term exposure to build a long lasting fan base shows that don't receive high ratings or don't have a high profile number the show will not receive long-lasting thing as some others meaning that the show didn't bring any new to the table and then it had lost its spark.
