As someone who grew up in a trailer park and with many friends from lower income lifestyles, I can’t tell you how much many of these scenes hit close to home. It’s sheds the dark side on why Alabama has the reputation it has due to family circumstances. I truly enjoyed watching it, and highly wish it would’ve continued on for at least another season. See more 08/27/2016 To call this show bad is an insult to the word "bad". The plot is thin, unoriginal, and tired. "Small town girl in big time trouble" - how trite! The naive intern gets caught sleeping with the POTUS, who also pays for her apartment. And all of a sudden she finds herself "out on the street, with no money, and nowhere to turn". Her friends do not want to "get involved", and she even has to borrow money to get by for the night. Seriously? The dialogue is full of cliches ("You're in so deep, little girl!"). The characters are one dimensional and utterly unlikable. The pace of the show is really slow. The acting is atrocious. There is nothing good about it... not a single thing!
