Then it picked up the suspense and I started to really get into it. Then it started doing all the cliche things some tv thrillers do. It seems they were too afraid to push the envelope. Season 1 was written much better and more plausible. Season 2 these criminals were too dumb to be as "big time" as the cops kept saying they were. The season finale was the biggest disappointment, everything wrapped up in the most cliche, happy ending way possible for a show like this. Nothing shocking that really sticks with you. It feels like we've all seen this ending a million times... very disappointing they couldn't challenge the audience minds and emotions until the very end. They fell short. Every time his wife had to kiss him in Undercover season 1 series, I wondered if the actress was getting a bonus check because she sure deserved one. So unappealing.
