The seventh season of Virgin River isn’t doing much more than keeping the story moving at the pace it set back in its first season in 2019. But that’s what fans want, which is why the show will go as long as Netflix and the producers want it to go. Go to Full Review

Not only is the show trying too hard to get everyone’s plot out of the way, but it also fails to really keep its audience engaged through any of these gazillion plotlines. Go to Full Review

Ultimately, it seems like Virgin River season 7 threw together a bunch of interesting ideas with potential but left them half-baked rather than developing them. Go to Full Review

Season 7 is solid for the most part, gorgeous in its use of scenic shots, and thoroughly satisfying where romance and new character journeys are concerned. Go to Full Review

London Girl W @LondonGirl 3d I've watched this from the start and I love it! I don't agree with one of the reviews that the Mel character is badly acted and not suitable for the role. I think she is perfect for it and fits the show really well and makes a great couple with Jack. The one fly in the ointment is Hope, who I can't stand and is really annoying. I really like Tim Matheson and have been a fan since my teenage days in the 60s! A few other slightly annoying characters, as you find in most programmes, but I am enjoying it. Looking forward to season 8! But for the love of God, will Jack please have a shave and smarten his hair up! He looks so scruffy, and even looked rough on his wedding day! See more Kat D @Brewster_82 Apr 11 The acting is much better in this season. 🙌 See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Apr 6 Virgin River Season Seven is an emotional rollercoaster that takes viewers down countless unpredictable paths. Every storyline twists and turns, keeping you unsure whether characters will rise or fall. The finale is particularly devastating, packed with heartbreak and high-stakes drama that tests the lives and relationships of everyone in Virgin River. The season excels in world-building, showing the town’s beauty and struggles while exploring deep emotional layers. The characters continue to grow in complexity, facing both personal and communal challenges. Though filled with sadness and tension, it’s compelling and keeps viewers invested throughout. Overall, Season Seven delivers a powerful, emotional experience that fans will deeply appreciate. See more Sylvia A @RT14266725 Mar 31 Nothing really happens. There are some story lines that are completely unnecessary and add no value (Charmaine and Preacher). Then it feels they are also dragging some other story lines with no purpose (Brie/Mike/Brady), like they can’t decide what they want. And the main characters of the story just go to Mexico for no reason. I wish they followed a little more of the book plots and focused on a few good stories each season. Lizzie was the only storyline that made sense and developed through the season. See more Shalini V @Shalz Mar 27 Agreed it's a feel good series but the same's been gone on for over 6 seasons prior. Same dialogue, same feel...boring, to say the least! Having waited this long for the 7th to arrive, this was a let down. Just hope they shake things up a bit in the next... See more Pete C @Pete1 Mar 20 Great series overall, but I think it is running out of steam at this point. The storylines are starting to feel repetitive and boring, just an excuse to keep us immersed in this world. Surprised they are planning to make an eighth season. See more Read all reviews
